Caravedo Mosto Verde Pisco 750ml

An award-winning expression of Peru’s celebrated mosto verde acholado style, Caravedo Mosto Verde Acholado is sustainably harvested and hand-crafted at Destilería La Caravedo Est. 1684, the oldest working distillery in the Americas.

Method of Production: Single-distilled to 43% ABV (86 proof), each 750ml bottle requires approximately 8 kilos (18 lbs.) of a balanced blend of Quebranta, Torontel, Italia, and Albilla grapes. Distilled from partially fermented grape juice (pure wine—never pomace) and rested for a minimum of one year—six months for each varietal, followed by an additional six months after assemblage. Crafted with no additives of any kind: no color, no water, no sugar, no wood flavoring. Distillation takes place in both traditional falca stills and alambique copper pot stills.
