In the chorus of Langa reds, hers is the most baritone, deepest voice. Gruff, a loquacious companion at the table, the bottle of Freisa attracts attention like a magnet, her breath so ardent, material so dark, flavor so vigorous. She obliges us to present the most intense dishes and the most passionate conversations alongside her.

Our winery owns a single plot of land cultivated to Freisa which is located in the municipality of Roddi. The calcareous soil, with a balanced presence of clay, silt and sand, is geologically attributable to the laminated fossil Marls of Sant’Agata. The altitude is 270 meters while the exposure is full south. Guyot system of vines.

This mid-weight nuanced Friesa has a captivating perfume followed by lots of non-fruit — think leafy and spicy — notes. The tannins are fine and provide perfect support.
