Aging some of this Zinfandel-and-Merlot-led blend in whiskey barrels adds intriguing dimensions of maple and spice to Inferno’s dark, velvety-smooth layers of dried blackberries, black plum and cherry. Plush and rich on the mouth, well-integrated tannins add texture and structure while hints of toasty vanilla and cocoa linger on the long, warm finish.
