Tasting Notes:

Deep crimson. Intense blackberry, ground coffee and dark chocolate aromas. Rich ripe blackberry, ground espresso and sandalwood flavours with pronounced gritty/sappy tannins and underlying mocha and praline notes. Finishes gravelly firm. A dense and robust maturing Grange.

It's full bodied and richly textured, but perhaps a bit coarse as well. This may not be the biggest, baddest or longest-lived Grange, but it maintains the Grange standard of excellence. Drink 2020–2030."

95 Points - Falstaff, February 2018. "Dark ruby garnet, violet reflections, subtle edge brightening. Fine nougat, ripe dark plum fruit, dark berry confit, a hint of orange zest, a hint of mint. Round and elegant, in a certain way "palatable" fine acid structure, present tannins in the background, pleasant spice, dries the palate, great food companion, already drinkable, dark nougat in the back taste."
