Poggio alla Guardia a benchmark wine, the third label released, from the great project of Rocca
di Frassinello. But a wine with a very marked personality: spicy but very easy to drink. This wine
is a wonderful introduction to the winery's other labels of great aged wines.

Grape Varietals:

40% Sangioveto, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot

Tasting Notes:

Plums, chocolate, spices and herbs emerge spontaneously. Clean mineral notes outline the
finish and confer an attractive element of freshness

Food Pairing:

Poggio alla Guardia pairs well with roasted meats, stews and mature cheeses.
