In 1846, Joseph Dubonnet created the perfect aperitif when he combined fine European wines with an infusion of sensual flavors. His not too sweet, not too dry aperitif won world-wide acclaim after Madame Dubonnet befan serving it to her family and friends. As a tribute to his wife's support, Joseph Dubonnet depicted her beloved cat on the original label. Today, we carry on the Dubonnet family's traditions with the original French formula and legendary cat.
