Drumshanbo Irish Whiskey Marsala Cask 700mL

Triple distilled at The Shed Distillery of PJ Rigney, Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim, Grain to Glass in The Shed Distillery; this single batch whiskey has stayed true to Irish whiskey making traditions.

Distilled with malted Irish barley, un-malted Irish Barley & Irish Barra Oats. Un-malted barley imparts a silky mouthfeel when combined with Barra Oats creates an intriguing creaminess & spiciness to the finish that truly sets this Irish whiskey apart.

Matured in Marsala Casks which had previously aged delectable Marsala wines from Sicily in Italy.

Nose:

Rich notes of clove and honey descend into subtle aromas of sun ripened fruit & toasty caramel. 

Taste/palate:

Sumptuous, dried fruits, hazelnuts with distinctive oak spice balanced deliciously with the influences of the delectable Marsala cask. 

Finish:

A delicate sweetness of spiced caramel, roasted hazelnut and raisin that lingers lightly on the tongue.
