The 2022 growing season was marked by an abundance of sunlight and a lack of rainfall. Those two factors combined with a cold spell in mid-January to lessen yield totals for many varieties. However, the fruit that was grown reached enticing levels of ripeness that have us excited about the quality and ageability of wines from this vintage.

Wagner Ice wines are gently pressed from frozen grapes, coaxing the juice out while leaving the water behind as ice crystals. The result is an indulgently sumptuous dessert wine. Intense floral and candied peach aromas are accompanied by fresh, lingering flavors of ripe pears, bright citrus fruit and honey on this Vidal Ice.
