SILVER OAKS ALEX CAB '01

The 2001 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has a rich and dark crimson color. There are still classic American oak nuances of vanilla bean accompanying the young, candied fruit and black licorice and brown sugar aromas. It has a broad, weighty and serious attack upon entry and a plethora of structured tannins on the mid-palate. The finish tapers slightly but is framed by tart acidity and flavors of dried flowers. This wine is in a great spot right now. Decanting may be necessary due to light sediment. Enjoy now through 2029.
