Tasting Notes:
Medium crimson. Fresh dark cherry, cassis, chinotto and vanilla aromas with espresso bitumen notes. Multi-layered wine with fresh dark cherry, blackcurrant, espresso and black olive panforte flavours, plentiful fine loose-knit chalky tannins and underlying vanilla oak. Forward in development but drinking well.

92 Points - Gismondi on Wine, February 2015. "Open black berry jam, blueberry, floral, black licorice, black olive, vanilla, chocolate, and tobacco and resin aromas. Full, rich, ripe and intense palate with some smooth, grainy tannins. Coffee, licorice, resin, tobacco, cassis, black berry jam, savoury, peppery, vanilla and dried herb flavours. Long, smoky bacon, cassis and rosemary finish. Still youthful, needs 3-7 years. Very fine, rich, warm 389 with balance. One to keep."
