VINEYARD: Kaligarici, Devici, Starici and Pudarica positions, planted 2006-2016, altitude of 50-150 metres above the sea level, hilly terrains of S-SW and W exposure on typical Istrian red soil. Selected locations that allow balanced ripening of Istrian Malvasia grapes and full aromatic expression of the variety.

VARIETY: Istrian Malvasia

VINIFICATION: Process of grape cooling, of stems separated with minimal damage to berries, short-term cold maceration, or rapid process- ing without maceration, pressing of berries with dry ice (CO2) and nitrogen processing systems inertisation, rapid must clarification through flotation, fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 14-16 °C, ripening on fine yeast precipitate (sur lie) for 4 months without malolactic boiling. Maturation in stainless steel containers, bottled after 4 months of ripening; after bottling, aged in a bottle for a month.

RIPENING POTENTIAL: Enjoy immediately or store for up to 2 years.

WINE DESCRIPTION: Crystal clear, greenish yellow colour, characteristic floral-fruit aromas, citrus notes, tropical fruits, light and fresh on the palate, exceptionally soft and drinkable.

RECOMMENDATION: Enjoy chilled at 10-12 °C as an aperitif, with light pasta or risotto appetizers, with white meat, fish, or seafood dishes.
