Domaine Tariquet Classic Côtes de Gascogne Blanc 750mL

Classic is the historic wine of Domaine Tariquet, first produced in the 1982 vintage. Initially made exclusively with Ugni blanc, a grape variety grown on the estate at the time for its Bas-Armagnacs, it has been able to renew itself thanks to blends with other grape varieties while remaining faithful to its origins.
From its first vintage, Classic won a gold medal with congratulations from the jury in Montpellier. The same award was made in the following two years. In 1987, it was elected "Wine of the Year" in London. This cuvée embodies the very spirit of Domaine Tariquet, which seeks the freshness, crunchiness and dynamism of its white wines to make their tasting a pure moment of pleasure.

Tasting Notes:

Since the 2022 vintage and its new blend of 6 grape varieties, Classic has gained in complexity, structure, length of mouth, aromatic power and elegance, while retaining its freshness and lightness. The floral and citrus notes become more intense with nuances of exotic flowers.
