Just as Halestorm blends many influences to create their unique sound, this Backstage Series collaboration melds very different styles. Two straight bourbons from Tennessee and Indiana were blended and then moved into a barrel that previously held "Cherry Bounce", a unique spirit made with cherries, whiskey, and baking spices. The time in the "Cherry Bounce" barrel allowed this bourbon to pick up some very subtle cherry notes. The end result is an easy drinking yet complex blend of whiskeys with notes of rich baking spices, dark sugars, and roasted nuts.
The packaging is Halestorm-inspired too: the cherry blossoms on this label are inspired both by the whiskey and a jacket worn by Lzzy Hale.
