95 Points - Descorchados, Patricio Tapia, January 2022. "The 2010 is an important vintage because it marked the beginning of the changes—many quite radical—that would take place in the top Errázuriz wines in the decade that followed. For the first time, for example, it was not 100% barrel aged, but rather 81% new oak and 22 months of aging. It also has lower alcohol, closer to 14º rather than the usual 15º that was the trend a few years earlier. But the most important thing is that this wine has aged very well over time. It still seems young, with lots of ripe red fruits and light touches of aging manifested in notes of dry leaves and earthy tones. The still-firm tannins predict another 10 years of aging."
94 Points - James Suckling,
91 Points - Wine Enthusiast, January 2013. "Floral aromas of cassis and plum are open, spicy and complex, with a balsamic accent. This feels solid as a rock, with firm tannins and a lively flavor profile that includes blackberry, baked notes, spice and cocoa powder. On the finish, oak is reflected through flavors of vanilla and mocha. Drink from 2014–2022."
17/20 Points - Vinum Wine Magazine, January 2015. "Dark, ripening purple. Very precise, clear and slightly herbaceous nose, very discreet notes of rose paprika, then ripe, elegant fruit, cherry and chocolate. On the palate, cool juiciness, present but very polished tannins, extremely long and elegant. To roast veal crown with potato gratin, in this case preferably without vegetables."
