Exploring terroirs outside of his native Chile is nothing new to winemaker Aurelio Montes, creator of Chile's first ultra-premium wine, Montes Alpha "M". After venturing to Argentina with Kaiken wines, Montes decided to tackle America's best-known wine region, the Napa Valley.
This vintage of Napa Angel belnds the finest of California Cabernet Sauvignon from some of the premier growing regions in the Napa Valley. Aged in French Oak barrels for 12 months, this supple wine yields notes of black currants, red berries and a touch of vanilla.
Aurelia suggests enjoying this wine with filet mignon, venison, lamb, light pasta dishes or, of course, on it's own. Decanting is recommended for maximum enjoyment.
