Grape Varietal:
Nebbiolo 100%
Tasting Notes:
Intense and broad color of a beautiful ruby red, it expresses itself on the nose with fruity notes of raspberry and cherry accompanied and well harmonized with persuasive woody notes such as vanilla. The aromatic frame, in addition to the typical hints of rose, is completed with notes of sage, mint, thyme, chamomile, constant over the years so as to constitute almost the trademark of this soil. In the mouth it is velvety, ample and enveloping with sweet and persistent tannins. The great polyphenolic structure of Nebbiolo and the right tannic acid ratio of this wine are certainly synonymous with long aging.

89-92 Points - International Wine Cellar, Stephen Tanzer, "Saturated medium ruby. Superripe aromas of black raspberry, roasted plum, dark chocolate, mocha, and sexy, smoky oak. Then almost surprisingly fresh and juicy in the mouth despite its roasted nuances, with strong, delineated fruit flavors of noteworthy depth. Here the fine tannins spread out nicely on the impressively long finish. A rather broad Barbaresco that also offers good cut and grip."
