San Rustico Gaso Recioto della Valpolicella DOCG Classico 2005 500mL

Vineyards located in Marano di Valpolicella at 350 meters above sea level, compact red soils on basalts, excellent sun exposure. The grapes are selected and harvested by hand at the beginning of October and dried on traditional "arele" racks for about three months in the drying room until the end of December. The bunches lose about 30% of their weight during the drying phase.

Grape Varietals:

Corvina/Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara

Tasting Notes:

Intense red color. Fine, ethereal, fruity aroma with notes of cherry. Full, velvety, rich flavor.

Food Pairing:

Classic Valpolicella wine at the end of a meal. It goes ideally with dry pastries in general, sbrisolona, fruit tarts, almond biscuits. Serve at room temperature, about 15/18 °C. It is advisable to uncork a little before serving.
