Domaine Faiveley Mercurey Blanc 2022 750mL

Grown on 3 hectares facing south, our white Mercurey is a subtle blend of grapes harvested from several parcels thriving on clay-limestone soils, including Les Montots and Bussière. Exceptionally light, supple and fragrant, it offers a less mineral but equally subtle tasting experience than our Clos Rochette.

This Côte Chalonnaise village takes its name from the god Mercury (God of trade). Mercurey is intersected by the Agrippa road which linked Chalon-sur-Saône to Autun in the Roman era. The wines of Mercurey have given this village its reputation throughout the world. With only 15% of the appellations vines being white, this is a truly special wine.

Tasting Notes:

Elegant aromas of fruit and flowers prevail on the nose. It is well balanced and pleasantly fresh on the palate. A pleasant wine best enjoyed chilled as an aperitif or with a meal.
