This superior marsala, well known in Italy and abroad, comes from Grillo and Catarratto grapes and ages for 30 months in ancient oak barrels, beyond the requirements of the DOC specification, in the tranquility of the centuries-old Florio cellars.
From grapes harvested at an advanced stage under the hot sun of Sicily, VecchioFlorio, which is now a great classic of consumption at home, contains the hints of bitter almonds and raisins typical of Marsala, combined with notes of spices and vanilla.
