Cave de Lugny Les Charmes Mâcon-Lugny 750mL

The Mâcon Lugny locality "Les Charmes" is the jewel of the production of the Cave de Lugny and the pride of its winegrowers. The harvest comes exclusively from a specific locality in the commune of Lugny, which is in the form of a 105-hectare plateau dominated by clay-limestone. The south/south-east orientation allows it to benefit from optimal sunshine. The average age of the vines is over 40 years, with the particularity that it is partly composed of so-called "musky" Chardonnay plants which give the wine all its originality. This wine is the reflection of hard work and a guarantee of quality all over the world.

The Cave de Lugny has been labeled Winegrowers in Sustainable Development since February 2015.

COLOUR: 

golden yellow with green reflections in its early youth, limpid and brilliant.

NOSE: 

floral and fruity aromas mixed (notes of hazelnut, honey, acacia and citrus).

PALATE: 

of great finesse, rich, ample, velvety wine with a slightly spicy flavour. Its structure gives it a special place in the range of Mâcon-Villages and its style is similar to that of the Mâconnais Crus.
