Barolo DOCG Parafada is perfect for long aging, capable of surprising with a surprising evolution. Elegant, refined, austere. Vinified in vats, aged in large barrels. Produced with Nebbiolo grapes from our vineyard located in the Me.G.A. "Parafada" in Serralunga d'Alba.
To the eye:
intense and bright garnet red which, naturally, tends to evolve with age.
Nose:
deep, very broad, offers multiple aromas among which red fruits prevail associated with floral and spicy notes. The elegance and refinement of Nebbiolo is inevitable, especially after a few years of aging.
On the palate:
powerful, rich and austere, it is a Barolo that expresses in an extraordinary way the great complexity of the soil of Serralunga d'Alba; Perfect wine for long aging. It is advisable to decant it and drink it at a temperature of 18-20°C. It accompanies important first courses such as risotto with Barolo and rich and tasty second courses such as baked meats with great elegance. After a few years of aging, it expresses its considerable potential in equal measure also sipped as a meditation wine and in combination with hard and semi-hard cheeses.
