Every single plot of the Cru is harvested and vinified separately in extremely simple and traditional fashion, in small vats with long maceration on the skins.

Firmly believing that the temperamental nature of the Radda Sangiovese needs understanding and ageing in wood but without hiding its characteristics, our Riserva has always matured in large oak casks.

The special conditions of the terroir along with the passion and care of our growers and cellar workers give remarkable qualities of elegance, delicacy and long life to the Riserva Vigneti La Selvanella

The wine has very well-defined and recognisable style: a bright, ruby red colour with delicate garnet highlights. Rich and complex on the nose with pronounced hints of jam and notes of vanilla. Full, warm and sapid on the palate with elegant and persistent hints of small red fruit, violet, iris and Mediterranean vegetation in the glass.
