This elegant wine is made with hand-picked scrupulously selected grapes from the Cecchi family's own SPARGOLO vineyard in Castellina in Chianti.

After a gentle, soft pressing and slow natural fermentation the wine is aged 24 months, 18 in large oak casks and 6 in barriques for extra complexity. The bottles are laid down in the Cecchi family's cool cellars for at least 6 months for the wine to acquire additional elegance and refinement.
